IRISH rally championship 2006

The pirelli Irish tarmac rally championship was at its peak during the 2006/2007 season this video looks back at the 2006 championship. The rally championship brought us to Galway, Derry with the Circuit of Ireland, Killarney, Scotland for the Jim Clark rally, Isle of man, Ulster and Cork 20 rally.

With over 25 WRC cars starting each event it was the best rally championship in the world. Eugine Donnelly in the aging Toyota Carola won the championship.

@tashiusclay But its not always their own money they're spending - thats what I have a problem with. Some of the drivers in that video owe hundreds of thousands of euros to suppliers (in business & in one well publicised case, in irish motorsport) that they cant and never will be able to afford to repay. Fair play to the lads like boland and mcnulty that can afford it, the rest however....
