I personally use Final Cut Pro X. At first I hated it. It felt like iMovie too much but now with the advanced chroma keying and Multicam Editing I'm fine with it. I do plan to switch to Avid soon but I don't have near enough money and I still need After Effects and a 3D graphics compositor so it's gonna be a while.

@eaglefan129 That's because you don't know Avid very well. If you are editing. Just the putting clips together and making the right cuts, Avid is the best. It does everything faster. You have to really have used it to know what I mean. For audio, CC and FX I go from Avid to CS. But for pure editing, there isn't yet a better system.

@pbkblackbelt I disagree on almost both counts, avid is ugly but its editing tools are very good logic is convoluted but its a lot better than protools for most production. Avid suits are built for big studios with dedicated suites and apples tools tend to suit every other situation better.

@pbkblackbelt pro tools is not better than logic. logic does everything that pro tools can do. and the interface is better.

I think Final Cut is better, but Pro Tools is better than Logic. IU love apple, but Pro Tools is way better.
