  • Haha. That's pretty cool.

The software seems to not be running in Windows, or is it a special window theme?

  • the software was written in java, which is operating system independent. however, there were a few specific details that were specific to linux, which is the os we used. especially for these types of projects, windows is rather pricey for what you get (also, linux lets you play much friendlier with low-level hardware stuff).

  • whahaha its fun to see, but its a bit... lonely??

and a waste of money XD 2 beers are a lot less expensive than all that =P

but, no joking, really a great job, and maybe they can make it standart in tables, a 1 player mode =P

    good job

  • i only wish we could have documented how we drank $500 in beer and called it a senior design project

  • This is actually realy amazing! I've been having ideas of something like this but didn't think it was possible. Good job! How long did that take to program/make?

  • the entire project (from inspiration to design to parts ordering to construction to programming) was done over the course of the semester with a team of 4 senior electrical/computer engineering undergrads (myself included)

  • You know you're a loner when you have to diss people on youtube for something to do. And there was actually three people working on the friggin project, faggot.

  • more like genius, i'd like to see you make something like that

  • nice

  • fantastic, altough the acceleration should be enhanced and some more intelligence in regognizing the ball installed (may be a mini-GPS inside the ball?:-))

  • very cool ... this is good for when a person wants but does not have anyone trained with her ... I bet if that had high degrees of difficulty all professionals would want one.

  • You gotta teach that thing some tricks.

  • This robot sucks a lot...

  • cool but it's too slowly

  • they have to be far mor faster....

  • You've got to spin it to win it! Sounds like the robot is controlled by a bunch of squeaking mice. Cool nonetheless! Great job!

  • Hey, why don't you go find some friends and play with them? It looks so sad :'(

  • Man that would be SO EASY to score on hah.
