Heart disease... Sadly Larry Norman didn't live long enough to see 2011! In our circles, Diabetes, Heart and Cardiovascular Disease are a non-issue for people suffering with those conditions, I could have helped spare him of such an untimely demise without drugs or surgery. :(
If only he had lived long enough, he could have lived another 30+ years totally disease free with my help.

What was wrong with Larry? I mean, what was his illness?
I've seen two videos of him in the hospital , on of them from 1993

@musketeerinfla Thanks for sharing that experiences people.

@norfrik A very bad Heart attack - His last one .

@trhtpc He was probably the least scary if not the acceptable version of christianity to date.

Even as an atheist I can say I always liked this guy !! Because he was such a great human being . I always saw his humanity and not his religion . I shared his love of guitar music !! He could be scathingly witty about trad religious ideas and behaviours he was one on his own !! I was sorry to hear he died of dire heart disease . He could not get treatment as his insurance had lapsed. I think perhaps he trusted God just a little too much !!

i never met this brother but, i know i will. we played Left Behind video so many times throughout the years in our Churches, and the song I Wish We'd All Been Ready, from way back in the 70s. what a song of the Rapture of Jesus Christ of the Church. wow!!! Larry ran his race fast!!! and good!!!

How great is it to know that this guy has a never ending life in Christ.

Good for us that he died. He won't be scaring children anymore.

Why is he in the hospital? Was that clip from one of his last days on earth?
I met Larry in 1983 .I went to one of his concerts in Dallas ,Texas. I was allowed backstage and met Larry. I know he had to be busy, but do you know what he did? He spent about an hour and a half talking to me about Jesus. I've never forgotten that. He was such a down to earth, wonderful person. I just learned of his passing today...or maybe I should say his graduation to paradise. Y'know Heaven is rockin' now! Love you Larry, thanks for touching all our lives with God's message! Steve
