We take our Time Attack A4 out for some drag racing shakedown runs. The car is a road-race car, our testing is for an upcoming competition on spec street tires, we run a 10.5 @ 148mph.

These runs were done with our full track-prepped suspension, and on Continental Conti-sport 3 tires.

  • How much boost

  • @tonlocsvids , about 30psi here

  • i'm guessing you guys changed out the axles with Raxles axles?

  • @Hellz420 , we've never used Raxles, The Drive Shaft Shop supplies all of our high performance axles, we've never had an issue with one, great quality stuff.

  • damnit you passed my stop did you here me pulling the cord, wait this isnt my bus

  • There is no other "good" reason for it, other than that shift is over and there is no longer a need to touch the shifter until the next shift.

  • Hello, its me that drives, and honestly I didn't even know I did that until the first time I saw it on video! I think, subconsciously, each shift is so important, and the forces are so violent in the car, that as soon as the shift has been successfully completed, I let it go as quickly as possible as to not accidentally pull it out during the hard acceleration.

  • Hi, I was wondering, when he changes gear he quickly lets go of the gear lever. Is this because it could jump out/spring back and break the drivers wrist? Or is it to ensure that once it is in gear the driver doesn't knock it out of gear by mistake under acceleration? Or something else? Thanks.

  • at 1:36 the hood looks like it wants to unlatch.and yes virginia..... you can snap snap axles with street tires lol

  • where in argentina? that's where my entire family lives haha...

VR6 turbo in argentina must be so much fun!!!! i love the roads
