Ive done Middle East and Africa and as long as you have a decent good quality jacket that vents well and is built with the correct materials then it isnt too bad. Ive used cheap gear and sweated during summer and froze during winter. Over the years trying different gear Ive learned "You get what you pay for" My very first setup years ago was 250$ US...Current gear is 1100$ US. I ride year around all conditions so gear and comfort is highly important for me.
