Ray Bradbury's classic sci-fi novel, which has come all too close to being our present reality, is brought to the screen by Francois Truffaut, starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie.
The exceptional photography is by Nicholas Roeg ("Performance," "Don't Look Now.")
The music for my tribute is "Machmen" by Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army.

I didn't realize this was a Truffaut. I guess I've seen more "foreign" films than I thought! :-) great choice of music, as always.
All I can think of when I see the burning books is KINDLE! Product name co-incidence??

Good vid great editing, ace movie, remember watching it years ago it was on all the time like 1984 but some how they are not these days, it seems they have went down the bbc's memory hole.
