Welcomed with a jasmine garland,shown some cultural masterpieces, dancing to Jai ho and other bollywood numbers, stringing flowers,getting mehendi done on your hands by an expert, learning to eat with your hands,draping a sari or dhoti on you- these are some of the exciting experiences one can have at the Taste of India programme at India Immersion Centre(IIC) Chennais newly emerging cultural hub at Global Adjustments. This program is for everyone to experience and immerse yourself in India through your five senses. This programme is exclusively designed to showcase and present insightful glimpses of India. Centered on a traditional Indian meal, hence the title, this programme offers a peek into living and working in India, a flavour of its vast customs, traditions and mythology, and ample photo opportunities through Indias traditional attire for both men and women.
