I was walking behind him near the concessions and he bounces around like he's on the moon with every step he takes. He's never out of character. The Capstronaut rules!

It may be strange to some people, but I think a space suit is perfect to wear to a Caps game.
The guy is a Washington sports fan and has not had a winning team for so long he feels like he is in outer space because the Caps are so wonderful it makes his head spin.
It also has to do with the Cold War and Space Race with the Russians, who are our hero players now.
Friendship with Russia should be a priority of US foreign policy.

it reminds me of the smithsonian national air & space museum, which is in D.C. the capstronaut is also probably the result of an astronaut mating with a cosmonaut.
