  • Hello Japan! Thank you for the kind words. Of the 3 muffler setups you mention I would go with the Gibson (duh) The other 2 are a bit louder and it sounds like you just want some tone and presence as I did. If you have the money Corsa is worth a look. Corsa is a lot more money though. Do you already have the TRD cai? It makes a good partner to a catback exhaust and looks killer under the hood.

  • Hey man. How do you like your Gibson exhaust? Could you tell a major gain in HP?

  • @YamahaRaptorFreak I did it for the sound. If there is a hp gain it is very modest. It sounds faster if that helps :-)

  • @1rovin2 Lol okay! Thanks man.. Is it loud?

  • @YamahaRaptorFreak its not obnoxiously loud and I didnt want a really loud truck, just some presence and rumble to signify the ponys under the hood. The Stock setup was silent as I have ever heard. I get compliments about the rumble if the subject comes up. There are much louder pipe/muffler combos out there if you want that. I like the sound of the Gibson with a TRD cai up front. Its all about individual taste. TRD claims an 8 hp gain with the cai, include Gibson for 10-12 hp total if lucky.

  • I think it will sound great. Make a video and post it. Let me know when its up!

  • Even though I'm a Dodge guy, that's a nice sound and setup on your Tundra. I'm looking at Gibson's split-rear for my Ram. Had the swept-side on my other truck and was very happy. Thanks and good job on the video!

  • sounds tough. nice camera work. did you mount a 500$ camera to your hitch. lol

  • is it loud to the point where you can hear it inside and not obnoxiously?

  • Hello again. We have much snow here at Akita. --- Corsa has also a good sound. But I wanna have dual exits. They don't have it... I like the style of TRD dual exits. 90 degrees at the end. Which sound is deeper, richer and heavily lower, TRD or Gibson ? Please let me hear your opinion again. Thanks.

  • Hello from Japan ! I like this sound and very good job for recording. I also like your words you picked up here. - I do not have opportunity to hear a variety of exhaust sounds. I am planning to purchase 1. Gibson 2. Flowmaster 3. Magnaflow etc ... for my 2010 Tundra. I do not like too loud and uncomfortable sound which makes noise around neighborhood. But stock sound is not enough for me. Need more deep/rich sound. Please let me hear your opinion and advise me which manufacture is better.

  • is this is a diesel truck? cuz i have a diesel jeep liberty and im wondering if the noise from the diesel engine and the noise from this would sound weird....any incite??

  • @1rovin2 Okay. Thanks! Yea, I don't want a loud truck either.. I just want a rumble like you said! I will definitely look into this exhaust. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for the Gibson?
