  • My credit union has Dum-Dum lollipops...not the reason I joined but a good reason to stay.

I still wish we could trade buttons for beads.

  • @boblaituri Lollipops are a good reason compared to paying $5 to use your own money.

  • @PlanetEarthAwakens01 and my credit union does not charge me 5 bucks a month,I gotta keep $25 in savings...is that a fractional banking issue?

  • @boblaituri probably, i'm not really sure though.

  • I've been a credit union member for years. Why would anyone that does business with any regular bank, put up with that crap? being in a credit union is a no brainer.

  • @thaboomer53 Same, people need to get over their apathy.

  • Dumped the useless Bof A and joined Redwood Credit Union. In the words of Twisted Sister... We're not going to take it anymore!

  • and dont forget to dump any and all credit cards of any said bank BofA, chase- wells fargo because most credit unions have their own cards with super low fee and intrests

  • I want to join a credit union :(

  • @AnteroX1234

    lol.. not hardly.

  • @itcanbecheezcaketime so people who use credit union are all fat

  • @JVIPER88 I like my Credit Union because they remember me even tho' I only visit when I have money...and they never ask for my ID..cause they actually remember me...but apple pie...you might of won this round.

  • @boblaituri

lollipops are cool, but I can beat that. When I transferred my money from BOA and opened a new account at my local bank, they had a slice of apple pie waiting for me when all the paperwork was done.

(And more importantly, an interest rate of 1.25% vs. 0.10% at BOA). btw, ZERO POINT ONE! wtf is that about???

  • My credit union has a coin counting machine, mobile banking, an investment councelor, auto-bill pay, etc., and it's all free. They give out free coffee, sodas and krispy-kreme donuts to their members when they come in the office.
