Video of an installation based on the inability to remember. Influenced by the particular case of Clive Wearing, a classical music composer who suffered a case of amnesia which left with a 7 second memory.
This was not intended to be experienced on screen, but it was the only means available to document the piece.
what's this bullshit

I think this is a cool video, it might have been obnoxious to be there in person... and if I'm not mistaken, didn't Clive's mind still completely have music intact? This sounds like it's evocative of music being there, but laden with holes and whatnot

There is much more to memory than this.Clive seemed to implicitly remember quite a few things .The video show a disturbed perception which I don't think it was the case as he could be in a calm state when doing things he was familiar with so don't think it shows how life was experienced by him very well but rather how you interpret his condition to feel like.

It's interesting but does not feel accurate as to how he experiences life. I like that you had fun with it. Inspiration comes from many places.

He does not need to remember to go to sleep, does not experience music as this constant starting and stopping, though the lights turning on and off and the general disorientation are probably a good reflection of the general confusion it must be like to live with such a condition.

Good work.

I think this is a good metaphora of Clive Wearing's mind.
