  • Society can, yet again, thank Richard Feynman for many of the safety and maintenance procedures shown here. Prior to his somewhat scathing report of NASA's admin for distorting probabilities for flight failure in his final findings on the Challenger disaster, turbine blade cracks in high pressure fuel turbopumps was a problem that still required remedy.
