  • Author Ray Hagen, Killer Tomatoes: Fifteen Tough Film Dames (McFarland, 2004), is writing a book about the oomph girl. Anyone with information, leads, or tips on Ann Sheridan, please contact Ray Hagen at hagenray at earthlink net or Laura Wagner at whitingfan at yahoo com. when asked why a book on Ms. Sheridan this is what he said," Because she’s among the most neglected and unappreciated actresses of her time, plus I adored her, on screen and off. I agree. Thanks Basil, love your tributes.

  • A very nice tribute to another actress who was taken way too early. The Music selections are perfect for the photos that are shown. I fell in love with Ann when I saw her in The Man Who Came to Dinner, on TV. I don't think she ever looked more beautiful than in that movie. I heard she was a heavy smoker, which probably contributed to her early death. There is evidence at 1:12. In the cheesecake photo, she is holding a cigarette. She certainly was lovely.

  • Every time I watch her on TCM, I fall in love with her...she's just a total babe

  • Ann Sheridan is my GIRL!!!

  • I used to think that Lana Turner was the best, bygone, perfect beauty, but now I do think that Ann Sheridan does edge her out some. They were both stunningly attractive, by Sheridan has a certain, serious look to her beauty that really hits you.

  • Ann Sheridan is one of my favorite actresses ever. She is just a gorgeous woman and a fine actress. I love her pose at the 2:21 mark.

  • The camera also loved Ann Sheridan* she had a beautiful mouth with luscious lips, and a great figure. She played in many westerns and dramatic suspence dramas.Yes this beauty made her mark in HollyWood.

    Great period music
