@bonehead156 I passed several bonfires along the way. If you want you could use them, but then you wouldn't be able to just homeward bone back to firelink. First bonfire 2:49, second bonfire 4:00.

@bonehead156 It's possible to do that fall without taking any damage if you use the sorcery spell Fall Control but you need 15 INT to use it. It's a really useful spell when trying to get to ash lake quickly.
