One of Australia's most well attended Kombi events, the Beach Festival is held each October in the beachside town of Old Bar (around 3 1/2 hours North of Sydney) each October.

drove 4 hours to see the 09 kombifest only to realise they were setting the record on sunday - not the saturday :( . was still pretty cool with all the stalls and the pouring rain . . . was awesome to see so many kombi's maiking there way up the highway on my way home ( literally hundreds ! ) will be there next year with my own - a split screen i hope :)
