@m4ssee yep, you can totally create your own drum beats in a piano roll or sequencer... check out my videos, I made all the drums using superior drummer.

Ugh, they always use the pre-produced drum beats in these videos. Is there any way to create my own beats, like with a piano roll or something?

@Vanjal =Playing to a click is what most pro musicians do, it garantees you to be on perfect time , i cant ever see myself recording without... you can easily fall off even playing to a drum groove , but hey just have fun with it!!
