The SU-27, 33, 34, 37, 47, are my favorite varients of the SU's. Amazing planes. I think both American and Russian planes are comparable and equal to each other.

@Nomad33fwYT I think it does not rivet, bolt it. You'd be surprised if at first an experimental aircraft engineer would like to get easy access into the interior of the plane? You may have heard about the engines too much propaganda ... Even the F-22 engines of merely 2-d, for the F-35 US bought the license to manufacture the engine for vertical take-off from a very old Russian fighter ...

POS - Just look at the fit and finish at the beginning of video, the rivets are not even flush. This may seem like a small thing but at supersonic speeds this will add drag and wear and tear on the airframe. Plus the Russia is about 20 years behind us and the western world (England) in engine tech. The next war will be fought with stealth supersonic UAV's anyway. Things like this wont stand a chance.

@bittemeinrammstein you need to do some readin', son. Putin has ordered that the inventory for the Tu-160 be brought up to only 30 airframes by 2025-2030, at the staggeringly slow rate of one aircraft every one to two years... And as for the T-50... The thing just made its first TEST flight a couple of weeks ago. They aren't expecting it to be operational until 2015 AT THE EARLIEST. (It's still a sweet plane, though...)
