My much modified Iver is running here with an experimental Summerlands Chuffer designed to give a deeper tone from the huge chimney. It is seen at Watercombe on the Summerlands Light Railway where it picks up a rake of Accucraft IOM coaches. The loco is running with single channel 2.4 mhz radio control on the reverser, but it is still a challenge to drive slowly. This film also highlights the work needed on the track before Winter arrives!

  • I like the deeper chuff, great video: great composition and trains.

  • @floamman - Thanks for the comment - it's nice to know it's not just me that thinks it's deeper ;-)

    Cheers

  • very nice Chris! - the cowcatcher on the front enhances the look of the loco alot.

  • @music1radio - Thanks Keith - that old Roundhouse cowcatcher has sat in my parts box for 20 years and then suddenly it looked right on Iver!

    Cheers

  • Hi Chris, Great chuffs, great camera work and great video! Simply delightful!!!

  • @PineTreeJunction - Thanks Lindsay - glad you enjoyed it! I must admit that the slow station bits were a real struggle, but then you know all about that ;-)

    Cheers

  • @DELTA1DSV - Thanks Roy - though I aged quite a bit filming this one - the Iver is a little jumpy even with 2.4 ghz!

    Cheers
