not necessarily. there is a large minority of certain chinese groups overseas and i see no local hatred or bad image to the locals that they bring. this means the problem must lie within certain chinese people themselves in shanghai which brings the locals to hate them so much. yes im not a shanghainese, and ive been there, know what the locals mean when they dislike the waidiren. do u think locals think highly of chinese immigrants in singapore, usa, europe, hong kong? same thing

the 10 mil immigrants from other poor small villages and provinces steal, cheat, spit in ur face, steal chairs deliberately to piss locals off like they own the place, no fashion sense, dress like beggars, give all shanghainese a bad image, bumb into u and blame u for it..im not a shanghainese..im from nanjing city..but damn those cunts piss me off
