  • I liked this plane. I'm flying Phoenix Model's Strega 40 ARF using Magnum .46 XLS. I've been using APC 11X6 prop, and just today switched to 11X7. Magnum literally runs pretty well. I'm so surprised that you are using 13X6 prop. Does you engine turn easily this prop? does it pull enough vertical on that prop. HOw's your experience?

  • @modykhan1805 I went to 12x6 Top Flight wood prop runs very well. This prop seems to be optimum for this plane and engine combo.

  • It can be if you want it to. It really hauls ass!!!

  • @aerialboy55 No, it's not a 3D model. It's more of a scale model.

  • @mastmar Today I flew my Strega 40 Phoenix model with Magnum .46 XLS 11X7 Prop, unfortunately my finger got lacerated left hand middle one, 6 stitches and right forehand got a scrape. It's alright Thank GOD, anyway, I'm feeling much better now. I felt the plane flew much better with 11X7. Well, I've never used a wood prop ever, but 12X6 is kinda much more for that motor IMO, again, it works best for you, may be some day I'd try. Thanks for the reply. Happy flying.

  • is this a 3d model?
