I love that he doesn't blame Zenyatta and even notes that Blame ran a wonderful race. Would it have been spectacular for her to have won? Yes. But you know what, a nose. Less than a millisecond loss! How could anyone ever hold one loss against her? She's a mare, she was the oldest horse in the field and she will be one of the greatest race horses ever, and undoubtedly the best female racehorse ever.

Poor Mike... I love how he doesn't blame poor Zenyatta. She ran her heart out and Mike doesn't blame her for losing....he blames himself. Mike Smith got a little emotional. It hurt more than he can explain because he thinks it's his fault. Mike Smithclearly loved Zenyatta very much.

@championsofeurope21 mike is an excelleny jockey now with 15 breeders cup wins hes excellent zenyatta was mostly a syntetic horse she was not used to having dirt in her face and even having horses so close to her dont diss somebody because of that you could see she wasnt grasping the surface and a european jocky now of you guys are consistent you had an 18 yr old win the turf this year for real step it off mike was consistent more than i can say for your jockeys
