A series of golok-based langkah from seni bela diri silat Jati Wisesa Gajah Putih from West Java (Garut near Bandung). Performed on location in Indonesia. The movements are performed as cultural expression, as much as being self-defense. In this light, it is also acted out with the help of the accompanying music.

most shallow martial artist cannot comprehend the complex body mechanics and movement and reversals shown in this footage... Silat is deadly, just ask the referee...oh wait there is no referee.... hmm maybe cause its COMBAT and not SPORT.

one can't say one martial arts is always better than the others.. the practitioner that decide if his/her martial arts is good or not..

maybe muay thai is good..but.. if the practitioner is not good.. even high technique of muay thai will be useless..agree?
