So after watching 4 minutes of absolute garbage, he still hasn't answered the question - what is the gospel? There is no mention of the cross, Jesus life, death and resurrection or atonement? 'If you believe what you like in the gospel and reject what you don't like, its not the gospel you believe - but yourself.' Augustine.'

1 Peter 1:19-21 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
KJV
1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you

What does Mclaren do with Romans 1:16, 'power of God unto salvation'. or chapters 2-3 which describe how bad and utterly lost we are apart from Christ. That Christ is way we can have righteousness instead of wrath?

Thanks be to God for coming to us as Jesus, proclaiming a kingdom yet to come! Glory to him! Glory to him for his noble ways of uniting cultures and faiths! Thanks be to Christ! And, thanks be to Brian McLaren for putting his reputation on the line in order to speak some TRUTH!!!
