The Chicago Bears introduced new quarterback Jay Cutler at a press conference Friday. The Bears dealt two-first round picks, a third-round selection and quarterback Kyle Orton to Denver for the Pro Bowl quarterback. (April 4)

I saw Jim McMahon play and believe me he bailed the team out of ALOT of games, yes the defense was awesome most of the time but there were games where Mad Mac was the savior! Jay Cutler is the best pure passer the Bears have had, once his leadership skills reach that of McMahon's, then we are talking about an all time great! Until then let's stay tuned......BEAR DOWN!!!

Respond to this video...Don't knock on Bears fans for trying to defend the best quarterback Chicago has ever seen. When McMahon was the quarterback the Bears had a scoring defense, so they made Jim look a lot better than he actually was. Cutler had a good year last year. It was kind of a sour ending to it, but I only expect him to get better.

When he tried to throw, he nearly slipped and his pass went straight into the ground. He did what he thought was best for the team, and that was stepping aside and letting the backup quarterback, who is always supposed to be ready just in case something like this happens, go into the game
