Reaction: Sarah Palin steps down

Whats your reaction to Sarah Palins recent announcement that shes stepping down as governor of Alaska? Does Palin have a responsibility to finish out the remaining 18 months of her term as governor? Palin said one of the reasons shes quitting is because the media has been unfair to her and her family. Do you agree?

I remember Hillary getting treated like this during the election. I also remember Palin saying that she should not whine about how the media treats her.

The media has no double standard. You think Palins family was the worst treated because it is now& fresh.Everyone forgets the extreme ridiculous HELL the Clintons were all put through.The endless slams,jokes&late night hosts had oooddlles of delicious fun w/ the Clintons.I sure dont remember outrage when Limbaugh called then 12yr old Chelsea Clinton the "White House Dog" Hillary was treated much worse than Sarah.If Hillary had made all the mistakes Sarah had made she'd be laughed off the planet.

Some good points . . . . her aggressive personality does invite aggressive reaction, but no one in my memory has had their family so maligned as hers. The media obviously has a double standard when it comes to Conservatives and Liberals.

Sarah Palin says abstinence only education works. But her daughter got knocked up.She says Obama is a socialist. But her state has collective oil rights.She says the media bug her too much. But she invites them to her functions.She says she wants limited government. But she wants abortion banned.She says she's a pitbull who won't quit. But she quits as governor.This is why people laugh at her.
