Yes, and I said that if I were to do a Eugenics program that
a) The participants must be willing (no one should be forced against their will to participate) and
b) That all participants have complete medical records (for the sake of seeing if individuals qualify).
Ethical Eugenics for the purpose of preventing degenerate and life threatening illnesses is always acceptable.

Hitlerian-styled eugenics was about selecting traits, not for their usefulness, but for their aesthetic appeal to Hitler himself. A person with a high school understanding of Biology could run a better Eugenics program than Hitler. The hard part would be making sure everyone involved in the program were a) willing participants, and b) have complete medical records.

I think what Ted is saying is that the news media must keep an OBJECTIVE view point and to not get caught buying into blind patriotism. There is not much on this Earth worse than misleading masses for political points and greed. The media is there to educate, NOT entertain.
