Ted Turner says media has no business showing American Flag

never knew that putting up an American flag made someone an instant patriot. Was it that easy? CNN is an international news organization, if they display any flag, they'll loose viewership.

Isn't it amazing that a conservative who cites the Constitution is an "extremist", but someone like Turner - who FOUNDED CNN - is NOT an "extremist" for objecting to displaying the American FLAG??? The American Flag is inappropriate now?

How much deeper can we sink into the abyss? I shudder to even ask, because I think that I underestimate the answer.

The news is suppose to be objective...news agencies are suppose to report what happens, not spin it in the direction of what they wish had happened. CNN, as a global news agency, should be loyal to what is true, not the sentiments of the American people or anyone else. BBC doesn't display the Union Jack. It isn't about whose patriotic or not, its about what is truth. How can a news agency be objective when they clearly display favoritism?

Oh that's funny you can say that with a straight face. Have you seen CNN recently? They have their noses so far up the anus of the government that calling them loyal to the truth is about as far from reality as you can get.

CNN is ranked 25th in cable viewership for a reason. They have no credibility.
