Sometimes I think about the way music takes transmission. In the forms I have known throughout my lifetime there have been reel-to reel (and cassette) the music coming from a point between an unfolding spiral and one of the opposite polarity. Then there was eight track, a never ending loop that had it's origin from the center. Then there were the discs, one a revolution from the outer to the inner, the more recent one a laser excursion in the opposite direction.
