There's no reason why this couldn't be put into modern MMA. Jujitsu (Japanese), Muay Thai (Thai), Wrestling (English), and Pammachon (Pankration, Greek) are just as ancient as this art and those are some of the most popular styles around the world. In Korea for their MMA competitions, Ssirum is among the most popular and that's just ancient as this art.
Very cool video, Im not sure if I would try and adapt it to modern MMA but those older men look very fit and Ill bet it would take a while for even a very fit person to do those exercises with any ease.
Hopefully this tradition doesnt die out, this is like a small piece of living history.

The power clubs - like kettlebells are well worth putting in to an MMA training program in my humble opinion!
