They wear those masks for protection. No one in my league does it, but I've been hit in the face before and it hurts a lot. So I wish we did have them.
-
imagine that in your face
-
@ChOcTaWpride1 yeah, because getting hit in the face or somewere else could KILL you!! but whatever, i hope you get hit without your mask and lose and eye, and maybe even some brain cells. u f-ing retard.
-
no it wasnt, her toe was angled at the ground. that's still legal
-
@livnzack LMAO rub some dirt on it and keep it moving funniest thing ever
-
This pitch is illegal!!!

Choctawpride.....you wanna pitch and get nailed right in the nose? Doubt it. And why do you care if someone is wearing a face mask and sliders or not? You and your FAMILY Can go suck some chodes.
-
hey choctawpride, i assume your "tough" family doesn't want you wearing a helmet when your batting either right? because if somebody drills you in the head with a 60 mph fastball you just rub some dirt on it and shake it off? well, the ball comes back off of composite bats faster than it goes in and anyone who has seen a young pitcher take one back in the face is running to the store the next day to get one these masks.
-
i really dont see the whole point of the faceguard and the sliders because my FAMILY says if u get hit you get hit and if something happens oh well u just come back next game and prove that you are tough. and sliders or what ever they are called are point less cuz if you wear them u must not want to get little blood on you or get down and dirty. this is how indians play though so yea

she didnt hardly even scoop
You think that. Wait until your standing there pitching, and get hit in the face with a drive. Just Wait. I've had it happen twice.. It's not fun. 14 hours in the hospital the first time, fractured skull, swolen tissues under the eye. Second time, - 2 days in the hostpital. Shattered nose, fractured skull, and a deep laceration.(also unconcious)

i think the mask is a good idea bc a girl at white knoll was playing 3rd base and one of our good hitters came up and hit a line drive at her face knocked her clean out and her nose got completly crushed well it was bearly hanging on there. so it just depends on what age level you play on and where you play.
