Hello, this is a system I slapped together. I know it looks a little sloppy but it's only the test part. I have a small 15-watt solar panel I pieced from small cells and I have a small wind turbine I built from a old DC motor. All together it produces about 150 watts at unloaded 26 volts loaded 14.5. I have it hooked to run the back part of the house and does very well.

  • Heres an idea, get another motor on the turbine, it could get the propellers faster and the turbine can re charge the the extra motor and that motor can keep the propellers going faster. That's what I should do if I decide to build one.

  • Hey!! Your video is great!! I have been trying to build something like yours but,,every time I try to raise it something goes wrong with the tower!!! How did you build yours??? Thanks..Rick.

  • cool!
