The one on the left is me, the other chap playing is my slightly slimmer alter ego:-) It is a pretty tune, I hope I do it some justice, sorry about the very slight tuning issue at one point. It would not have happened if we were actually playing together, but that is technically impossible. I am not Roland Kirk (youtube him)

  • Hi,

Can you please share the make and model of microphone? Rode?

  • well spotted! an NT2a, although with hindsight a NT1a would have been just as good, I rarely use the patterns or pad switches

  • Really nice work Sir!

I do not play sax but i definitely love the sound of it.

A really professional performance. Thanks for sharing! :~)

    Franco

  • Cheers Franco! While I like to play for my sax playing friends, your opinion counts more in my eyes. I am really pleased you enjoyed it!

  • Once again you tip the scales. Made interesting discussion for my Year 11's. All loved it. I'm converting 16 year old 'Slip Knot' fans into jazz thanks to your talent.

    Love Lyn

  • Cheers Lyn, kind words from a very talented player and teacher!

  • Really great duet. Beautifully simple and a lovely melody the way you play it. Truly unique for a Tangerine rendition. I just got a soprano and you continue to inspire a hack like me. Thanks!

  • This song is so bright and uplifting.

  • That made me feel good.

  • A really enjoyable video. I especially liked the soprano part.. Keep up the good work.

  • is that the something greatest hits cd playing?

  • that tenor part blew me away

    great job!

  • Thanks. I have the NT1 and it does not sound nearly as good at the NT2a on Soprano. The NT2a has much better presence. Cheers!

  • Beautiful, my improv is blown away. I love it!
