The Backroads Scooter club is formed by a group of
like minded Scooter riders, who like to ride on a
regular basis. Our members ride all makes, and models of
scooters, Modern and Vintage.
Most of our rides start in Rockland County, NY (sometimes Nyack, NY
and other times Sloatsburg, NY, and sometimes Englewood Cliffs, NJ).
We also participate in many of the other
local Clubs rides(and events), and we try to post them here.
(just to name a few: Usual Suspects Scooter Club, New York Scooter Club, LISSC)
Our members are from North Jersey, Rockland County, Orange County,
Westchester, New York City, Long Island, almost anywhere in the Tri State area.
Anyone can join our Forum and post there,(even if they are not a member of the Backroads
Scooter Club, and do not own a scooter). Our motto is "Take the long way home".
We like to take long rides, and take the back roads.
In most cases, our rides require a 150cc scooter or higher,
but we welcome all motor scooter riders.
