A test train run up to Pukerangi to test clearances of the 56ft type carriage, A2325, now painted in TGR livery, and ex Southerner (circa late 90's-2002 era) guards van AG118, an ex FM van. It was the first time these vehicles had travelled up this line. Lead fingers mounted to sides were used to check clearances. TGR built car 'P' was also in the consist, hauled by Dj 3424. In this first clip it is proceeding into the crossing loop at Hindon to cross service 1906, the morning Taieri Gorge Limited service on it's return run to Dunedin. 18 December 2008.
