NARRATOR:

Things seemed to be going really well but something just wasn't right...
Maybe it was the guilt coiling in the pit of Nick's stomach? Or maybe it was the emptiness taking over, as the reality of the situation finally became clear to Erin as well. Nick was Chris' best friend. The thing that brought them together was the way they both mistreated girls. So that's exactly why Chris would never allow Nick and Erin to become anything more then what he assumes they are, which is enemies on the verge of being friends.

Then something occurs to Erin, so what were her and Nick really then? Enemies on the verge of being... a couple? No way. Erin, as love struck as she was, still had a bright head on her shoulders. That was the stupid kinda stuff you watch in lame romantic comedies. Where the main characters go from hating each other to the bone, to jumping each others bones from love and lust. Now you know why, you girls love them movies. Because secretly, no matter how cheesy and idiotic you find the movie, you kinda wish you were one half of that 'perfect' couple. Well let me tell you something honey (this goes to Erin and the rest of y'all), they always get together at the END for a reason. All things, no matter how perfect they may seem, come to an end. So NEVER let your guard down.

But what can I do? I'm just the narrator; nobody listens to what I have to say.
So obviously Erin's thoughts become useless and disoriented as the kiss goes on. She slowly takes the lead, as she notices Nick wanting to stop this. Erin's been waiting so long for this moment, and she couldn't have it end so quickly, like those movies. She's able to turn with him subtly, 'til he was now trapped between the arm rest of the couch and her body. Nick didn't like where this was going, but he loved it as well. Erin placed her hand on the nape of his neck; she was now in charge. He wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her even closer as the trembles moved up his spine. This was too different for Nick. He'd always been in charge in past situations, that way he could control himself easier. Was he ready for someone else to take the wheel for once?

As things got more intense, the guilt growing in Nick, finally got the best of him. He agonizingly tore away from the kiss. Her eyes fluttered open soon after, and she gave him a questioning look. It took all his strength not to kiss her again. Nick pushed her away softly. As he spoke, his voice held no mercy, "Thanks babe. You were a lot of fun." He gave her his signature smirk. "But you're Chris' little cousin, so although I know you really want to, don't go around bragging about this, alright?" She was really shocked. Angry. Sad. Disappointed. Ashamed.

He made her feel like an idiot. No way was Erin going to let him know that though. She shoved him hard so he fell backwards onto the couch. His back against the cushions, face up, Nick saw her face come awfully close to his and he couldn't exactly move. He gulped as his heart rate went shooting through the roof. His plan was backfiring. He was supposed to be in control. Her emotions taking charge, Erin's words came out cold and piercing. "Bragging about YOU?" she sneered. "It seems like you've mistaken me with someone else."

"You're right I have," he admitted. Erin taken by surprise, took a step away from him. "I thought you were this immature, cute and aggravating girl," he explained as he clasped his hands beneath his head. "But really you're smart, sexy and equally aggravating. So yes, I have mistaken you with someone else."

"What?" she said, utterly confused.

He sat up, and turned so he could face her. He studied her for a bit before continuing. "Erin, the minute I think I know you, you prove me wrong. It's almost like you have two different personalities. It's like you're constantly messing with my head." He held her eyes for a second. "But at the same time, I feel like I know everything about you that there is to know." he shrugged.

"Obviously, you, Nick Jonas, know Nothing about me," Erin stated before opening the door. She returned his gaze. "Let's keep it that way." And with that she was gone, closing the door behind her.

The End.

Alright so it really isn't the end, but it's a better ending then any romantic comedy has to offer. But I'm just the narrator remember.
