Flint Man Fires Back at Robbers, Kills One

a Flint homeowner described shooting and killing a teenager who he says pulled a gun on him in his driveway.
Police say that teen, 17-year-old Willis Arrington, and two others were trying to rob him. The two surviving teenagers were charged.
Those two, who are just 16 and 17 years old, were bound over to circuit court as adults on two counts of armed robbery and one count of felony firearm. One of them is Arrington's brother.
They were also shot Aug. 4, 2010
"He slid over the hood of the car with a mask on his face a gun in hand and he said, 'Mother******, give it up,'" the homeowner said.
"I bend down, go into my pocket, pull my gun out. He shoots. I shoot."
The homeowner, who we are not identifying, says he fired 12 times because that's how many bullets his gun had in it.
The homeowner fired three shots at the guy with the gun who police identified as 17-year-old Willis Arrington, a Northwestern High School athlete. He died that night.
The rest of the shots were aimed two others: Arrington's 16-year-old brother and a 17 year old who we are also not identifying.
The homeowner and police say they were with Arrington in that driveway. Both boys were injured. Both were charged.
The homeowner says he keeps his gun with him because his neighborhood has changed. His home has been broken into and he's been robbed before.

Memo to all of those who want to abolish the 2nd Amendment....this is one of several reasons why it's important to keep the right to bear arms. This guy would probably be dead had he not had a weapon with him.

That business owner should be shot and killed. After he shot one that was confronting him with a gun. Owner chaseded the two others outside and shot wildly down the street and sprayed bullets everywhere. Then returned to the story got another gun and then shot the person on the floor a few more times.  All but the first two shots were UNJUSTIFIED and endangered the rest of the town. Not so much as thin line as jump off high cliff.
