Empty is your brain . Milhazes paintings are full of colors and are so beautiful . Collector of what ? You Don't know how to appreciate art . How could you buy one ?

Beatriz Milhazes's success is a mystery to me. Her paintings look so decorative. Pretty empty actually. They sell and so what? In Brazil, the contemporary scene is booming, with such artists as Adriana Varejão, Cildo Mereiles,Ernesto Neto,Vik Muniz (a Brazilian New Yorker), etc. I am a collector, but i would never buy such sweet candylike emptiness...
