minimoog solo

This is a minimoog solo using the new acquisition of our research group, a MiniMoog Voyager OS. Basically, some simple modal melodies over a quiet 'string machine' background. The sound is close to Rick Wakeman's in 'The Remembering' from Yes' Topographic Oceans, but not exactly. Oh, don't you love a bit of prog? Since I was 12 years old I fancied a minimoog... 27 years later, here we go!

i'm a college student, studying music theory/composition and music technology, and i have to say that moog has done something beautiful for the world.

nothing in the universe makes the sounds that moog makes. well...at least nothing i've heard.
