Dude, you German sounds really fluent. I'm happy you made the video. Plus respect points for Benny.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought the guy in blue was Peter Jackson.

@Guest1016 Why on earth would I talk about Politics or Literature? [Which you spelled incorrectly by the way, as well as having poor punctuation in your comment Mr nitpicker, so I guess English isn't one of your fluent languages?] I don't talk about these in English. Should I demand that you give me a lecture on quantum physics before I believe your claim to fluency in any language, including your mother tongue? The topic was my language learning experience.

@irishpolyglot So if I take German in highschool next year, it will be a waste of time?

Hallo Benny!
How come you previously couldn't learn any German for 5-6 years but then learned to speak in a much faster time? What did you do differently?

@SummerKingdom The first time was purely academic, in a very inefficient learning environment (Irish secondary school). The second time I focused on immersion and had friends (and a girlfriend) entirely in German.

@daglug1 Irish (Gaeilge). There is another part of the interview with more Irish I will upload soon. The presenter works for an Irish learning programme and was interviewing me about language learning in general for his site.
