Not sure this is directed towards me...but if it is to my memory credit I don't remembe saying I knew better than Ibn Kathir. However any Tafsir is commentary and opinion of the commentator which people can disagree or agree with, peace and thanks for watching my videos.

Can you explain what Dar al Harb is and what it means if you are so well versed, and if there is nothing at all in the Koran that would suggest perpetual war. Have you ever Read the Koran?

I believe that is the concept of house of war and Dar al Islam is house of peace, this was a concept created after the Quran was compiled, the Quran does not mention the world in two "houses". This is a concept that not all Muslis believe, and even if they do, to what extent is another story entirely, hope this helps as well, thanks for watching my videos, peace

I would also read Sura 8 along with 9, since most scholars agree the two go together, since sura 9 doesnt start with IN the name of god the compassinate the merciful, peace

Qur'an 9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, torture them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

This sounds genocidal. Can you explain this for me?

I agree it sounds genocidal, until you read verse six of that same chapter, I would look into the historical background, in most translations that word unbeliever says Pagans, hope this helps.

Imagine someone killed your brother,father, and raped your mother. Would you be satisfied with him serving jail time? I wouldnt. We completely disagree on the status of the Qu'ran and it's content but that should not be a surprise.

What we can do besides pointing out it's historical scientific failures is to point at it's real world consequences.

In other words has anything that is proclaimed in the Qu'ran should happen when people follow it actually come true?

And if not why has it failed ? Can it not be followed ?

Can you give a real world example of the correct way to practice your religion?

However Although none can deny its magnificence, That doesn't mean everyone accepts islam. Religion is in the heart of the believers. There are many whose hearts are sealed. In islam we see that even the bitterest of enemies Allah(Swt) bought their hearts to him.

EXACTLY...like the chapters of the Quran in their beauty, eloquence, splendor, wise legislation, true information, true prophecy, and other perfect attributes.

The fact is that anyone can write a bunch of words in a paper. Quran is more than that. Quran remains unchallenged by man since its revelation. And dont give me that bull. Arab speaking muslim or non muslim can easily tell difference between Quran and other fake imitations. Many times many arabs become muslim upon hearing its recitation.

YOU asked me for an example of a verse LIKE the surah's in the Qu'ran.

I gave you one , I don't care what you consider it to be, the fact is it's there. And when non-Muslims non-Arabs hear it they cannot distinguish it from the Qu'ran which makes Qu'ranic recitation nothing special.

And you must be an idiot "tested it on a muslim". First of all you moron not all muslims speak arabic. They can recite but they dont know what it means. I for one, however, have scholars in my family who speak arabic. I cant tell you how stupid they think you are atm. Go show this to a Muslim who speaks arabic first language and follows the teaching of islam.(recites Quran often)
