@DynamiteGiftBaskets These songs which were and are so powerful, God can use them to touch our hearts and bring us gently back to Him. I praise God that these great ole songs were used so mightly by the Holy Spirit to call many to Jesus. The Holy Spirit uses them just as much today as He did then.
God bless you Teresa, and if you need any kind of help with questions, or prayer, please feel welcomed to come by and ask.

Thank you for your reply. Like Jonah, when the Lord desires us to end up in a certain place, it will happen no matter what.
I would like to send you something via email but I do not see an email address. You have mine and if you are willing to send yours I would like to share some Christian things with you ..Lord Bless You

@loudubin7 The seed was planted in you which was good soil, it just took some time for it to sprout. Praise God that you stopped running. I hope and pray you are studying God's Word. Right now we are very close to hearing the trumpet call, whether you believe in a pre-trib, mid-trib or post trib, either way, it's very close.
God bless you,
Linda

Mustard Seed Faith...Parable...Lamb.....Daniel Amos.....Evie....Keith Green.....back in the late 70's, early 80's, who needed secular music? Great music and talented groups performing songs that contained God's Anointed Word...what could be better?

@viken51 The nice thing is, we can still listen to them today. some have their albums on CD and that makes it great.
I miss those days.

A new Christian in1977--I taped this along with some Keaggy, Keith Green, and Don Francisco onto reel-to-reel tapes (which I still have). Contemporary Christian music from that era is quite anointed, and even musically speaking, quite good.

@viken51 That's some good stuff there and still just as good and just as encouraging or convicting. Thanks for sharing.. :)
