Wise Alec is a family trivia game where players try to become the Wise Alec by being the first to reach a set point goal or be the player with the most points after a certain time period. On each turn, players roll the die to determine the number of squares they will have to move on the game board. If a player lands on a red, green, or yellow square, that player picks up a card from the corresponding deck: history, spelling, or science. Each card gives two question options: one for three points and a harder one for seven points. If a player lands on a blue square, he or she gets to pick the subject category. An orange square means that the player to your right gets to pick the subject category for you. If you answer correctly, you get double points. Landing on a Wise Alec square means you must pick up a Wise Alec card and follow the directions. Be prepared to say a tongue twister, answer a brainteaser, win or lose points, or do wacky things. The game comes with a game board, a rule sheet, a die, three decks of trivia cards, one deck of Wise Alec cards, and six pawns. Wise Alec is for two to six players.
