You are definately correct that people need to start doing their homework. Too many people taking other folks word for things, and this is when error can be embraced. I'm like you, I tell folks not to just take my word, but to study the scriptures and let the Holy Spirit show them truth. We need more Bereans! Excellent add of scriptures...this is a great head start to help others begin searching the Word for themselves. I always try to put in a lot of scripture too!
