This is my entry for the Youtube Space Lab Competition. The eyeboard is an open source project that I built in order to help people with disabilities. My circuit detects the eye movements using the technology called "Electrooculography". Which consists in detecting the resting potential that exists between the retina and the cornea by using skin electrodes around the eyes.

Using analogue and digital electronics, and applying the correct interface to this concept, I can control anything I wish just with the eyes!

  • Umm... this isn't an experiment. Most experiments come with procedures

  • @theblackcomp111 The scientific method can vary if it's an engineering project. Unlike a normal scientific project, in an engineering project you define the project's goal, the need, and then test it and prove that it actually works (or explain why it didn't work). Engineering is also considered science! :)

  • Hey bro,That is pretty amazing but i don't really understand the point.what do you want to do with it in space?i mean it really has nothing to do with gravity and stuff.so what do you suppose to do with it?

  • @kndsk13 Hey, thanks for your comments. It doesn't have to be something related to gravity to prove that this project can work and help people in space. Well, actually 'gravity' (or the lack of it) has a lot to do with this project... In fact, like I explained in the video, motor skills in space are very limited. This project might help overcome those physical obstacles at space and help astronauts interact with the environment easier.

  • Hello everyone, once again I want to thank you for your comments regarding my project. I want to announce that I recently launched my project at Kickstarter!
