Hey! What is Zoroastrianism? : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism

Babylonian Captivity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babylonian_Captivity

Here is where Satan comes up in the Tankh:
This is Pre-Babylonian Captivity:

Genesis 3:1-3 :http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=1&chapter=3&verse=1&...rsion=31&context=context

Job Chapters 1 and 2 : http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=22&chapter=1&verse=5&...

And Chapter 2: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=22&chapter=2&verse=3&...

Post Babylonian Captivity ( See how the language and attitude changes about Satan after exposure to Zoroastrianism.):

Zechariah 3:1-3: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=45&chapter=3&verse=1&...

Isaiah: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=29&chapter=14&verse=11&a...

The Torah says that HaShem is the Creator of Good and Evil (Blessings and Cursing), Life and Death, Chose Life! : http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deut%2030:19;&version=45;

I challenge any one to find where (in the Torah) G-d warns us in we don't obey we are going to Hell.
It is not there. I looked.
Good Luck.

  • I'm back...I asked a mentor of mine about the potential of the prophet being influenced by zoroastrianism. I was shocked by the response I got. Instead of an answer, it was "you're kidding, right? You should be careful what you read/hear online. If you believe that there's nothing more to discuss." Then they said I had my timeline wrong. I kept pressing for an answe to the question, then finally got " These concepts were established already even under Avraham.!" I was really shocked.

Who said this to you? Now, I am even shocked. All I can say that I have spent many years (25 in fact), looking into these issues; If not for my own satisfaction, then for the purpose of truth. This Truth has not weakened my relationship with the Creator, but instead, strengthen it. It has strengthened it a way that I own my relationship with HaShem. I hope you are not discouraged and yet strengthened. Much Peace.

  • We are not to believe anything of the tree of wickedness, we can only help people escape the abominations of the world. All these things are dangerous to the well being of true flesh beings of the planet earth who are under constant vampiric attacks. All these powers that exist that have been contained on our planet are the enemy who sap the life out of satan who truly is not a carnel swine that he is made out to be. He is the murdered one who still lives.

  • @Kittenkattan what religion do u believe

  • @Kittenkattan My mentor, believe it or not! I was just posing the question not even calling it fact. I certainly didn't anticipate the reaction I received. I thought it was a great point that any person involved in either judaism or xianity should at least investigate if they want to be honest. Ultimately I think prophets are humans who are subject to error like the rest of us. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Yechezqel! I have many questions about his prophecies...

Con't.........Even though there are universal themes (ie: return to Torah, remember not to pray to other gods, etc), they were only speaking to the people of their lifetime. Not to mention that when you look at the other prophets (Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings, etc) they're quite different to the "Prophets" speaking in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, and the like; but on the whole they are speaking for their generation; period.

  • @BornInTzyon

First off, Most likely "Jesus" was James (his brother), and what was written in Qumran was what the "real Jesus" said and did. I also believe that there are prophets even today; based on Deuteronomy 13. They (prophets) occur in every generation to point back to Torah (as per the commandment in Deuteronomy 13). My issue (as stated in this video), is that the prophets spoke for their generation, and even though.....con't....

  • @Kittenkattan For me, Jesus, if he existed, was a misguided false prophet. Would you agree that G-d chose to speak otherwise unknown things to His people after Sinai via prophets such as Yehoshua ben Nun, Yesh. etc...? He didn't cut off all communication. The things that He said didn't conflict w/what He gave at Sinai but were not known which is why prophets existed. I'm trying to understand why you don't feel that YHVH spoke anything through prophets after Sinai. Perhaps it's the format.

  • @BornInTzyon

con't ..... The hidden Truth is we are to worship Carl Sagan, as Messiah?. It was HaShem's plan all a long! See, A covenant is a "Everlasting contract" all the cards on the table, so to speak. No hidden agenda. Otherwise we would be walking around showing Cosmos on IPads, and making pilgrimages to PBS. Not that that would be a bad thing, but I would like to do it because I liked it not because I would go to hell if I didn't. :-)
