Since there is no sound: Patient is positioned in sitting or standing. The therapist monitors the radial pulse and asks the patient to rotate his head to the involved side. Patient is then asked to extend his/her head and to take a deep breath and holds it while therapist externally rotates and extends the patient's shoulder. Positive test is indicated by absent or diminished radial pulse and may be indicative of TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome)
