Uncle Andy's Funhouse ft. Tony Clifton

In 1980, Andy filmed this pilot for ABC. Though ABC didn't pick up the series, this would become the basis for Paul Reuben's show, "Pee Wee's Playhouse". 3 years after the pilot was filmed, Paul Reubens would ask Andy for permission to base his show off of the pilot. Andy agreed. This is the first filmed appearance of "Little Tony", and "Knuckles" who were designed for Andy by the Legendary Norman Tempia (Of "Team America" fame).
The alternate title for this pilot is, "Buckshot"

I can't figure out why ABC didn't pick this up. Maybe it has to do with they saw Tony Clifton was on it and they couldn't afford him. I bet Knuckles never messed with Tony again!

Sorry, mr Clifton, but this skunk at the garden party is a notorious sock puppet named Pater bernard who's been blowing smoke up pretty girls' asses for years. While he's mostly harmless and ineffective (theres an over under of about two months for anyone that he works with getting pissed off and giving him the heave HO) I'm concerned that people get the word on just what a CREEP he is because he has a LOT OF FREE TIME and he's NOT GETTING LAID so he can conjure up a lot of negative energy THNX!
