I think caroline has earned a spot in having some of the best spirals along with sasha cohen. But could sasha ever do a pearl? no. Caroline is needed.

@guitartorch 21 isn't too old to begin. You probably wouldn't reach an Olympic level unless you started as a child, but you could definitely learn to spin and jump well. And you could compete if you wanted to. I highly recommend it! I took up figure skating again in my 20s and had my first competition at 28. Two years later, I'm still practicing and getting better. :) You just have to find a coach and set aside several days a week for practicing.
