What railroaders and millions of other people in this country and world do: Work For a Livin'. Rain or shine, the work has to be done! Some railroad action is set to the tune of "working For a Livin'" by Huey Lewis & the News. If you guys are getting sick of these music videos, let me know. Also, if you have any song ideas that a railroad-themed video would work well with, let me know. Thanks!

  • What is the train engine called at 1:40 with no cab?

    And friendly engineer at 2:24

awesome video and song goes good with video

    5/5

  • Thanks! The unit at 1:40 is a GP60B made by EMD.

  • I like how all of them are jumping on their trains when there not supposed to get on or off moving equipment. Nice Vid though

  • CN still allows them to

  • so i could hop a grain car to NY and not get in shit????

  • No. Only employees of the railroad, or industries where they drop cars off are allowed to legally climb on trains, but most railroads don't let their employees climb on and off moving equipment. CN still does.

  • WOW!! That felt like a DVD!!

  • I'm trying to find a job with the railroad. The economy, however, has hindered my search by a large margin here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I just love the railroad, and would love to find work with them.

  • I am one the few that went from Steam to Diesel with Santa Fe Railway that is still around. I love this video, the music is fine I love it, keep up the great work on it.

  • Man youre creative. freakin awesome. Nice.

  • @Nerfherder3 i live outside of philadelphia, pa.

  • @wackymac28 Oh its a great place just a little north of Toronto

  • @Nerfherder3 wheres that at?

  • This is one of the most accurate visuals I've seen of my work. It could be a training video of how to get on and off moving equipment. And yes CN still expects that of employees in Canada only within the 4 mph speed restriction.

  • @wackymac28 We got some nice trainmastering jobs up in Hornpayne for ya

  • @pjtesar101 a slug on some railroads

  • @pjtesar101 the locomotive at 1:40 is called a B-UNIT and the ones with a cab are called the A=UNIT

  • i want this job so bad
