Topped by a panoramic glass roof, the Verve concept is bold and sophisticated -- to help it clearly stand out from other small cars on the road. Building on decades of small car leadership in Europe, Ford plans to use the Verve as the basis for a small car that goes on sale in North America in 2010.
Looks COOL!

One other possible criticism is the bulbous area between the headlights and the A pillar. Unless that is to increase the aerodynamics of the car, ditch it.
I also noticed something that looks like Volvo's Geartronic Automatic transmission with manual override. Any chance the new 2010 Focus will get that?

This is the platform in which Ford will be introducing the European Focus(C1 platform)to North America, supposedly in 2010, as a new Ford Focus. Suffice it to say, this is merely a concept, so you will probably see some changes to its looks, based on results of customer surveys. The platform is currently used in North America in the Mazda 3 & 5, Volvo C30, S40, & C70.
Ford, whatever you do, ditch the red-pink gauge lights. Pontiac tried them 20 years ago & they sucked. Otherwise, me like lots!

I agree. We need cars that look this good and get good fuel economy here in the U.S.A.
